Non-executive Director
Adam Myers has been a Southampton resident for almost all his life. Born and raised in St Denys, and still living there, Adam is proud of his City and loves seeing it thrive and grow. He has worked in many types of industries, and made many positive contributions to his community and those around him.
In his professional life, Adam has been a HR professional for over 25 years. During this time he has worked in the retail sector growing his career and experience from grass roots HR junior roles, to a senior role several years later. He worked for prestigious Toy Shop ‘Hamleys Of London’ as their Training Manager, and was responsible for the recruitment and training of the Bear Factory brand, which later became ‘Build A Bear Workshop’. He worked in Walt Disney World, Florida as a Culture Representative. Later in his career Adam headed up the HR team for an international recruitment business, with offices in Singapore, Norway, Texas (USA) and Florida (USA).
All of this fabulous experience led to Adam establishing his own HR Consulting Company in 2016, Stellmar which is steadily growing and developing, supporting businesses and business owners all across the UK.
During all of this, Adam has been a passionate performer, producer and supporter of the Arts. He established his own local theater company (amateur) in 2004, ‘Musical Theatre Southampton’
Adam is at a stage in life now where he wants to start to give back more, support others, and share the benefit of his knowledge and experience for the greater good.
