Introducing: We Are Holyrood

We are excited to announce We Are Holyrood - a special dance and film project to celebrate the Holyrood community…

In 2019 we took RIDE to the Holyrood Estate in Southampton and we’re back with a new project for 2020/21!

We Are Holyrood will shine a light on the stories of the Holyrood community – unique stories about who they are and where they live.

Holyrood residents – join our young peoples’ creative workshops

Calling all Holyrood residents aged 6 – 16! In the lead up to creating a film about the Holyrood Estate, we are running a series of FREE creative workshops with local young people over Half Term.

Those taking part will develop skills in dance, film and photography whilst exploring creative approaches to storytelling. They will leave the workshops empowered to tell their stories in creative ways and lead the next stage of creating the film!

Sign up for FREE for either weekend:

  • 24 – 25 October 2020 / 10am – 4pm each day
  • 31 October – 1 November 2020 / 10am – 4pm each day

Location TBC: within walking distance of Holyrood
