Critical Mass Leading the way in inclusive co-creation as part of Birmingham Festival 2023 In Celebration of the 1 year anniversary of Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, we were invited to lead the co-creation of a brand new piece of work with Critical Mass Dance Collective, directed by ZoieLogic Dance Theatre, commissioned by FABRIC, supported by Dance Leaders Group (DLG), and funded by United by 2022. SOLARA featured an integrated cast of 100 D/deaf, Disabled and non-disabled dancers and headlined FABRIC's EveryBody Dancing Day on 30 July. Watch
We Are Holyrood Celebrating our 6th year collaborating with the community of Holyrood in Southampton Thanks to the 3 years of funding that we recently secured from Paul Hamlyn Foundation, we’ll be able to be more present and effective on the ground and deliver more engagement than ever before. Education Exciting new partnerships and first-time performance experiences Partnering with Dorchester Arts and funded by The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC), we spent several months working with a group of boys at Thomas Hardye School, using dance to explore issues that are important to them. They named the project FuzzySenses and ended with a performance at Dorchester Corn Exchange - the first time many of the students had ever danced on a stage! We’re so proud of them. Look
ZoieLogic Team spotlight Ollie started with ZoieLogic Dance theatre in 2017 as a FuzzyLogic dancer and was youth coordinator before joining the core team as Project Coordinator at the beginning of this year. He has recently completed a CPD programme with Sadler’s Wells called Making Moves; a new choreography and performance project FuzzyLogic are taking part in, that helped deepen his artistic and creative skills.
