Creating access to dance and nurturing talent is at the core of everything we do

We specialise in getting young people interested in and taking part in dance, and enriching the dance curriculum.

We have over 20 years’ experience of providing dance education in both school and community settings. Our team is passionate about delivering high quality, accessible dance experiences for young people. We create a positive and safe environment to support teachers and students to develop their dance skills and creativity, by nurturing the courage to take risks and harnessing the imagination through play.

Workshops for keystages 2-4

A ZoieLogic schools workshop provides a creative and engaging experience for participants to upskill in contact work, movement creation and storytelling. Our workshops broaden students’ understanding of what dance is, build confidence in their own abilities and positively impact attitudes to dance beyond those who take part. They are accessible for all abilities and adaptable for Key Stage 2 – Key Stage 4 and higher education.

ManMade: All boys youth dance platform

ManMade is an all boys youth dance platform, first established in 2010. ZoieLogic dance artists work with a selection of secondary schools to create performances with their students through a series of workshops. All of the performances are then presented at a local professional venue as a celebration of the young people’s talent and creativity. This unique experience supports students, teachers and schools to promote boys’ dance and raise aspirations through peer learning and positive role models.

Continuing professional development for people teaching dance

At ZoieLogic we share over 20 years’ experience of teaching and facilitating dance through a range of professional development workshops. Our one-day workshops are adaptable and suitable for all levels – whether you’re new to dance teaching, not a dance specialist, or an experienced dance teacher wanting to brush up on your skills. Workshop topics include: engaging boys in dance, co-creative practice and more.
