Role: Part-Time Support Worker
Location:
Southampton, UK
Hours: Equivalent to 1 day per week (48 days total) from April 2025 – March 2026, with some periods of more intensive work (e.g., festival/project weeks requiring multiple days of on-the-ground support).
Salary: Freelance £120/day + 10 days training (total of £6,960)
Start Date: April 2025

We collaborate with communities to co-create impactful arts, education, and wellbeing programs that make a tangible, visible difference. From engaging workshops to vibrant festivals and long-term community initiatives, we address key social challenges, enhancing the lives of those we work with and leaving a lasting legacy.

Through a new grant from Arts Council of England we aim to develop a replicable model for training social workers in creative facilitation and movement-based practice.We’re looking for a part-time Support Worker to help deliver our outreach programs, focusing on the We Are Holyrood project. In collaboration with No Limits, you’ll support our work bridging social care and creative arts, improving wellbeing through innovative, movement-based practices. This is a chance to gain hands-on experience while supporting diverse communities and creating inclusive, impactful arts initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support participants and staff during program activities
  • Help remove barriers to participation, making creative spaces accessible
  • Participate in specialist training (April–May 2025)
  • Work with local social services to build capacity and enhance impact

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Background in social work/community support
  • Interest in the arts and movement-based practices
  • Experience working with diverse, socio-economically challenged communities
  • Strong collaboration, empathy, and adaptability skills

Timeline:
