Founded in 2000 by Artistic Director Zoie Golding MBE, ZoieLogic Dance Theatre is an artistically-led, social impact organisation that delivers powerful projects that connect people of all ages and backgrounds through the power of movement.
We work collaboratively with communities to co-create impactful programmes across arts, education, and wellbeing, making a tangible difference to participants and the places they call home. From engaging workshops and vibrant festivals, to long-term community initiatives, we help individuals and communities achieve extraordinary things and create unforgettable memories.
Our projects promote social cohesion, reduce barriers to participation and prioritise access for all, especially in areas where provision is limited or non-existent. We focus on reaching those most underrepresented or least likely to engage with dance and the arts.
Our mission is to help people live happier, healthier and more creative lives.

We are experts in getting guys dancing, and in producing community activations and mass dance events. We believe anywhere can be a dance floor. Our work is inclusive, collaborative and highly accessible, We challenge norms and defy expectations of who dance is for, and where and how you experience it.
Here are our three main areas of work:
We are leaders in challenging the perceptions of men and dance in the UK. We provide access to dance for all people and nurture talent from six to 76-years-old, while celebrating positive male identity.
The change we are making: We create safe, aspirational and non-competitive environments in which boys and men can develop confidence, self-expression and physical wellbeing in ways that feel relevant and empowering. Many of our participants build resilience, grow their self-worth and improve their life skills, while experiencing the joys of teamwork.

We work with communities to animate places they call home, illuminate what’s important to them and foster a sense of community cohesion and pride. We are driven by people’s stories – past, present and future.
The change we are making: We help communities reclaim space, create meaning and connect with one another. The impact is visible – more people are able to access regular creative activities, improving their mental and physical health, and communities themselves are shaping the future of arts delivery in their neighbourhood. Our projects are co-created and co-led, leaving a lasting legacy by upskilling locals and catalysing social cohesion.

Through acts of epic collaboration, we unite people of all backgrounds to feel the euphoria of moving as one. We are national leaders in producing inclusive, co-created mass movement events that ignite connection and joy.
The change we are making: We address a growing national crisis in social isolation, loneliness, mental health issues and disconnection, particularly among underserved communities, young people and men. By placing dance at the intersection of art, health and community, we use movement as a powerful, transformative tool to rebuild connection, restore confidence and spark collective energy.

Why dance?
For 25 years, we’ve championed the transformative power of dance, witnessing firsthand how it can change lives. We believe our work is essential, not just because it promotes physical activity, but because dance encourages creativity, curiosity, communications, emotional expression and resilience. It enables human connection, helping people builds strong relationships and improve self-esteem, regardless of their dance experience.

“We’ve worked with Zoie on many occasions over the last decade. She’s led workshops, directed rehearsal and has brought Fuzzy Logic to dance festivals and delivered CPD sessions at conferences.
“She has a wealth of knowledge, particularly around engaging boys and young men in dance. She is very well respected for her work and is often cited as someone to talk to about making dance with young people. She has an empowering and inspiring effect on all those she works with.”
