The Collective is a monthly dance space for men of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels. It’s a place to connect, explore movement, and experience the freedom that comes from expressing yourself through dance.

Whether you’re curious about trying dance for the first time or looking to reconnect with creativity in a new way, you’re welcome here. We move, listen, create and share — together.

No experience? No problem. Our members range from 18 to 60 and come from across the South Coast. Some have never danced before; others bring different creative journeys. What connects us is a desire to move, connect, and be part of something energising.

There are also opportunities to take part in performances, but only if you want to.

*When we refer to men, we embrace all individuals who identify as a man and are inclusive of non-binary people who identify with expressions and experiences of being male. Read more about our inclusion statement here
