Sŏn-Gak (선각)
– “Line + Angle”

Sŏn-Gak started as an exploration of arm gestures. It developed by exploring where these lines would lead the dancers through space opening up from simple gesture to formations in space. The title is Korean for ‘line and angle’.
Mission: Impossible Algebra

Castle Hill School navigate their way through the impossible task of algebra. Some are math geniuses; others simply stare at the numbers and hope for the best. Together, they discover that perseverance, teamwork can turn even the most baffling problem into something worth celebrating.

Explore, is a piece that looks at taking in and adventuring through our natural surroundings, specifically our journeys through everyday habitats and environments. We were inspired by our daily routes to and from school, this piece focuses on the landscape surrounding our school.

Top secret documents have been stolen from MI5. Only the best detective agency can crack the case and uncover the culprit. Can they solve the mystery before it’s too late?
Becoming Better

This piece is all about being a beginner: the wobbly starts, the “why is this so hard?” moments, and the tiny wins that keep you going. The performers play with messing up, trying again, and slowly getting the hang of something new.

This piece explores the moment when silence is no longer an option. Through movement, it captures the tension, courage, and unity found in standing up for what you believe in… even when the ground feels uncertain beneath you.
